Gore Tenara Thread
Nonstaining GORE® TENARA® Sewing Thread is unaffected by acids, alkaline solutions, bleach , and cleaning chemicals. Made with non-fading pigments that are highly resistant to light, the colored thread retains its bold appearance over time.

Gore® Tenara® Sewing Thread is a long-lasting thread which enhances the life of the outdoor and marine products in which it is used. Conventional seam threads on awnings and other outdoor fabric products suffer from exposure to wind and weather. After a few years they can become brittle and break. In contrast, Gore Tenara Sewing Thread is a thread that does not deteriorate from exposure to the elements – not even when exposed to UV radiation!
Shade-Guard uses quality rope resistant to rot, mildew, oil and gas, acid and sun. Not only has new technology in the rope industry led to the creation of ropes as durable as steel cables, but also ropes are less dangerous and less abrasive on the fabric. In addition, better results are achieved with the spanning of the structures with far less tension. Removal, storage, and reinstallation are much easier and faster with rope attachments.
